Dr Malcolm Mackay
Dr Malcolm Mackay is a General Practitioner and Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in medical practice. He has a broad range of skills across the full spectrum of general practice. He is based at Clinicare GP Clinic, Fitzroy, Melbourne and also provides Telehealth consultations for patients across Australia – drmalcolmmackay.com.au
Dr Mackay has a special interest in preventing and managing chronic disease with whole foods plant-based nutrition and other evidence-based lifestyle interventions. He is co-author of a website providing information and resources for those interested in this approach and is active in social media.

Consultations available in person, online (Zoom, Skype) or by phone. Each consultation involves around 2hrs of my time comprising:
Pre-consultation which includes reviewing your medical history, medications, past and present dietary patterns and current lifestyle behaviours. I then meet with you either in person or online for 1 hour to review your goals and then create a customised intervention, tailored to you and your specific needs. I will then follow up with an extensive email with a summary of our session, containing resources, recipes and links to help you on your health journey.
